This is of particular interest to me since I'm a huge fan of EC Comics and Gaine's publishing work, as well as a long-time Mad fan. Keep in mind, as "right on" as Gaines is portrayed as, this is essentially after he "stole" the magazine from Harvey Kurtzman, in the 1950s. Still, Gaines' reign over the magazine did successfully last quite some time.
